Donate
Do you want to build healthy and engaged neighbourhoods? We do, too. Neighbourhood houses make it easier for you to pursue this goal with accessible programs and services for everyone, at every stage in their life, already in place.
You or your organization can support ANHBC and our neighbourhood houses by making one-time or monthly donations. Each year, more than 56,000 people of every age, culture and ability use ANHBC programs and services. Your contribution can make a difference in their lives.
Our webform accepts Visa and MasterCard and donations are tax deductible. An official tax receipt will be automatically emailed for all web donations.
More Ways to Give
If you do not have a credit card, or feel uncomfortable using the online form, there are other ways you can donate.
Mailed Cheques
Please send your donation to:
Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC
#203 – 3102 Main Street
Vancouver, BC V5T 3G7
In-person Donations
You can visit your nearest ANHBC House or Camp to donate in-person via cash, cheque, or credit card. We are always open to visitors!
Please find your nearest site here.
In-Kind Donations (non-monetary)
If you would like to donate items instead of money, please reach out to your nearest House, Camp, or our Central Services office to discuss the process.
Donations made outside of online webforms will be manually tax receipted and mailed to you within the tax year. Please ensure you provide an accurate mailing address if you wish to receive a tax receipt. If you have issues or concerns regarding a tax receipt, please contact Central Services.
Legacy Donations
ANHBC is honoured to accept legacy gifts. If you are interested in leaving a gift in your will, please email Central Services at central@anhbc.org.
Gifts of Securities
You can support ANHBC and our neighbourhood houses by donating publicly listed stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. A gift of securities is a simple way to contribute to the wellbeing of our communities while making the most of what you’re able to give.
When securities are donated directly, they may offer personal tax benefits* but most importantly, they help strengthen programs and spaces that people rely on every day.
If you’re interested in giving this way, please email Central Services and we’ll guide you through the process.
*We encourage you to speak with your financial advisor to understand what this option means for you.
